AVOID!!!! Worst moving experience ever... The relocation was only 2 miles between old and new home... I had a smoother experience moving from Los Angeles to London. Broken Furniture, Stolen Jewelry, Argumentative staff. The front office still hasn't refunded us for the broken furniture... giving us the run around that the insurance deposit isn't worth paying for the broken bed frame... chased them for 3 months for the compensation and they would never return calls. I caught one of the movers going through a sealed box to look at personal photos... I had to argue for them to cover the newly carpeted stairs, as they claimed their shoes were clean. As they pull up to the new house there are suddenly additional fees in the hundreds and they only would accept cash. DO NOT HIRE!!!! They weren't the cheapest... so I did not expect this kind of service...

Move size: 4+ Bedroom Home Service cost: £1600

After a lengthy selection process I ended up going with FIS
as they were willing to accommodate the requested moving dates over the WE. However, I dearly paid for it.
They completely mis-staffed the job despite having surveyor come by to inspect the property. Ended up having to use their packing service which was simply dreadful as items were literally just quickly thrown straight into a box in order to empty wardrobes without any consideration of the content or how it was previously arranged to make unpacking easier. The fact that they only sent 4 instead of 5 men for packing and dismantling didn’t help. Furthermore, the guy who was tasked to dismantle refused to get help from anyone else. So rather than having two men dismantle large furniture pieces he ended up trying to do it all by himself and severely damaged our hardwood floor while doing so. Same story for the reassembly job when instead of working as a team he rushed the job trying to get it done himself and now our big sliding wardrobe is not closing properly anymore and he refused to fix it despite pointing it out while still on the job.
The whole job was badly planned and it appears that the office was misleading the actual workers as none of them were aware that this was meant to be a two day job. I was even told in advance to not tell the men this is a two day job in order to have them work super late on the first day in the hope of finishing up in one day. Due to understaffing and completely misjudging what was needed to move the content they had to work later on Saturday and didn’t nearly finish the job. Apparently the vans were scheduled for another job for the next day though, so I ended up facing extortion for an additional payment of more than 50% of the agreed fix cost the very next day in order to get my belongings actually delivered and have it assembled by workers who were more than annoyed that they had to show up for work.
Assembly job was sub par and after going back to the old
house we saw the full extent of the damage to our hardwood floor as well as several damages to the furniture due to the lack of securely wrapping it for transport.
We tried to raise a claim and asked to be connected with
their insurance to settle the damage claims and have been ignored since. If you have a proper move of an entire family house then this is NOT the right company. Very poor communication, appalling planning and misleading guidance.They were not even the cheapest provider to begin with and factoring in the additional costs it was just a rip off for a horrible service.

I had such a great experience with Fast Interior Removals and just had to share. From the first phone call to the final delivery, the team was absolutely brilliant. They were punctual, professional, and extremely careful with all my belongings. I’ve moved a few times before, but this was by far the smoothest and most stress-free move I've ever had.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: £950

Found this company to be expensive, we booked them for 1pm and they arrived at 3.30pm, at which point I had moved most of our belongings from the flat to the street. We did not get a courtesy call to say they are running late at any point and we had to call them and found it difficult to get anyone on the phone. The men that arrived worked hard and moved our belongings well, they had finished in 2hrs30 and insisted on charging us for the whole hour so total 165. We would've thought that because they kept us waiting for so long they might have offered a small discount but instead we were charged a full hour for half hours work. We have used better and cheaper companies and won't be using this one again.

Service cost: £165

The price was very competitive – slightly less than half the highest.   We had significant problems with other buyers and sellers and had to delay the expected move date a couple of times and by more than 5 weeks.  Fast Interior Removals were very understanding and cooperative and still managed to accommodate our final date, despite its obviously not being easy.   Throughout Fast Interior Removals were very gracious with their responses and maintained good and friendly communications with us.   On the day of the move, they arrived promptly, and packed everything very competently, efficiently and swiftly.  We then had problems with the money of the sale being transferred, and there was a delay before Fast Interior Removals could unload.  They bore this with equanimity and graciousness.   Finally in the unloading the gang worked hard and again very competently.  All the property was safely unloaded into the house with no damage nor loss.  Saqib, the team leader was very anxious to ensure that I carried out a thorough inspection of the removal van to ensure that everything had been unloaded and there were no items left.   Al-in-all I am very happy with Fast Interior Removals’ performance throughout and am most grateful for their tolerance and understanding during the difficult period when we were trying to arrange the move.  Above all, I thought the performance of the removal gang on the day of the move, from packing through to unloading, was exemplary.  I am enormously grateful for the help and support of Fast Interior Removals, and would unhesitatingly recommend their use to others.

Lorry was booked for between 8 - 9 as house had to be vacated by 12, called faisal in office after 0900 to query where movers were whereby he started to raise his voice and said what do you want me to do, turned up at 09:30 and looked dismayed when I told them house had to be clear in 2 and half hours. Due to this I was forced to assist in order to get job done, even then never cleared property until 12:40. Asked movers if they had plastic to protect carpet and told that was extra. No tail lift on lorry, crew then asked for for diesal money so they could get to second property.
On arrival at new address, very dark no lights in removal vehicles, had to unload by torchlight. Hurt my back during the move this was explained to the company owner by the staff with not so much as an apology given. 3 members of staff worked hard but were exhausted by the end of the move which led to carelessness and breakages. Photographs of damaged items sent to company so that damages could be claimed on insurance, no response. Poor performance for a removal company would not use again or recommend.
